Job Summary
A growing organization in the vacuum science and mechanical hardware space is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk for a contract/temporary opportunity in Fremont, CA. This role supports order processing, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and light assembly in a hands-on warehouse environment.
The Warehouse Clerk will play an important part in supporting sales, customer deliveries, and day-to-day warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control activities, including shipping, receiving, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy.
- Process orders, pull products, create sales orders, and coordinate shipment arrangements.
- Support logistics and freight coordination, including UPS, FedEx, LTL, and similar carriers.
- Perform assembly tasks to support customer orders and internal sales needs.
- Confirm deliveries with customers and assist with order-entry activities using QuickBooks Enterprise.
- Assist with additional warehouse, administrative, and operational functions as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Process customer orders, pull inventory, and coordinate shipments.
- Support inventory control, cycle counting, shipping, receiving, and freight coordination.
- Perform light assembly work to support sales and customer fulfillment.
- Create sales orders and assist with delivery confirmations.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory, logistics, or order processing experience preferred.
- Experience with UPS, FedEx, LTL, and similar shipping methods.
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise is strongly desired.
- Working knowledge of order-entry processes using QuickBooks Enterprise is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and adjust priorities in a dynamic warehouse setting.
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with team members and customers.
- Good driving record and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electronics, components, semiconductor manufacturing, vacuum science, mechanical hardware, or a related technical product environment.
- Prior experience supporting sales teams through order fulfillment, inventory coordination, and customer delivery follow-up.
- Hands-on assembly experience in a warehouse, distribution, or light manufacturing setting.
