Job Summary

A warehouse operation in Tacoma, WA is seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity. The Warehouse Associate will support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, organization, and attention to detail are essential. Key Responsibilities

- Pick, pack, stage, label, and verify customer and internal orders accurately and efficiently.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify products and quantities, and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and process Bills of Lading, packing slips, shipping documents, and related warehouse paperwork.
- Use RF scanners, barcode scanners, warehouse systems, and basic computer tools to update inventory and order information.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, product organization, and warehouse storage accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse while following all safety, PPE, compliance, and material-handling procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $22.00 to $26.00 per year.
- Employment type: Temp-to-hire.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Pick, pack, stage, and verify orders for shipment.
- Receive shipments and confirm products against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping records.
- Process shipping and receiving documentation, including Bills of Lading.
- Use scanners and warehouse systems to support inventory accuracy.

- 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, shipping and receiving, or related experience required.
- Previous picking and packing experience required.
- Experience using RF scanners, barcode scanners, or similar handheld warehouse technology required.
- Strong data-entry skills and basic computer proficiency required.
- Experience reviewing shipping documents, receiving paperwork, inventory records, and order details.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to order accuracy, safety, and compliance.
- Ability to identify and report inventory shortages, product damage, incorrect shipments, or documentation issues.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and teamwork skills.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment as trained.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with Bills of Lading and shipping and receiving documentation strongly preferred.
- Experience with inventory systems or warehouse management systems preferred.
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment is encouraged.
