A growing manufacturing business in the Vista, CA area is seeking a hands-on Warehouse and Operations Manager to oversee daily shop operations and coordinate plumbing and installation projects. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an organized, dependable operations professional with experience in plumbing, construction, installation, service coordination, or hands-on field support.

The Warehouse and Operations Manager will work closely with ownership, installers, customers, and shop team members to keep jobs moving, ensure materials are ready, solve day-to-day issues, and support a dependable operation. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily shop operations, workflow, organization, inventory readiness, and preparation for upcoming installation jobs.
- Coordinate and schedule plumbing, installation, and service projects to support timely and efficient job completion.
- Complete assigned plumbing installations accurately, safely, and according to company standards.
- Ensure materials, equipment, supplies, and job details are prepared before installers arrive on-site.
- Track installation schedules, monitor job progress, and help resolve scheduling, customer, or operational issues.
- Communicate professionally with customers, ownership, installers, and internal team members.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule.
- $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
- 50% commission of completed installations.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage daily shop operations and keep installation workflow organized and on schedule.
- Coordinate plumbing, installation, and service projects from preparation through completion.
- Prepare materials, equipment, supplies, and job information for field installation teams.
- Communicate with customers, ownership, and team members to resolve issues and support smooth operations.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant operations, plumbing, installation, construction, or service-industry experience.
- Strong scheduling, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs, deadlines, and priorities in a hands-on work environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a small-business setting with ownership and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

- Plumbing experience is highly preferred.
- Experience coordinating residential or commercial installation projects.
- Background supporting field installers, service technicians, or construction crews.
- Familiarity with shop organization, equipment readiness, supplies, and job staging.
