Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Transportation Coordinator for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Bakersfield, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and help manage a courtesy loaner vehicle fleet of approximately 50 units.
- Check vehicles in and out with customers while delivering professional and helpful service.
- Prepare loaner vehicle agreements and verify driver’s license and insurance documentation.
- Conduct inventory audits and help maintain accurate vehicle availability records.
- Assist with document scanning, preparation, filing, and other administrative overflow tasks.
- Provide overflow support to the service coordinator as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Coordinate daily check-in and check-out activity for courtesy loaner vehicles.
- Maintain accurate loaner vehicle records, agreements, and inventory information.
- Verify customer documentation, including driver’s license and insurance information.
- Support service coordination and administrative overflow tasks.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional, people-focused approach.
- Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with customers and team members.
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing documents and vehicle information.
- Basic administrative skills, including scanning, document preparation, and recordkeeping.
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple daily tasks.
- 1 to 2 years of experience preferred, but no previous experience is required.
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a customer-facing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, automotive service, transportation coordination, dispatching, fleet support, or administrative support.
- Familiarity with vehicle check-in and check-out procedures.
- Comfort working in a busy service department or automotive environment.
