Job Summary

We are seeking a Superintendent - Construction for a direct hire opportunity supporting commercial construction projects in the industrial facilities and infrastructure sector. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction leader who enjoys being on site, coordinating teams, solving problems, and keeping projects moving safely and efficiently.

The Superintendent will lead daily jobsite operations, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, maintain project schedules, uphold safety and quality standards, and serve as a key communication link between project managers, clients, inspectors, and field teams. Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day commercial construction operations on active job sites.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, material deliveries, and daily field activities.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, architectural plans, and civil plans.
- Monitor project schedules, identify issues early, and help resolve challenges before they impact deadlines.
- Enforce jobsite safety standards, maintain quality workmanship, and keep the site clean and organized.
- Maintain daily reports, jobsite photos, project documentation, closeout tasks, final inspections, and punch list completion.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
- Travel is required to commercial construction projects within approximately an 8-hour radius of the Pittsburgh area.
- Overnight travel is common, with projects typically requiring 1 to 3 week stays.
- Company travel expenses are paid.
- Per diem is provided.
- Company truck provided



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead commercial construction jobsite operations from mobilization through closeout.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, and field activity schedules.
- Maintain safety, quality, documentation, equipment, materials, and overall jobsite organization.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, inspectors, and subcontractors.

- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience required, with 3 to 5 years of experience preferred for this level of role.
- Restaurant experience required
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, architectural plans, and civil plans.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Comfortable using email and basic computer programs.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Forklift experience required.
- Willingness and ability to travel overnight for commercial construction projects.

Preferred Qualifications

- Additional commercial construction superintendent or field leadership experience.
- Experience supporting industrial facilities, infrastructure, or complex commercial construction projects.
- Experience managing project closeout, final inspections, and punch list completion.
- Strong track record of maintaining safe, clean, productive, and professional jobsites.
