We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Redmond, WA. This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader with strong residential and commercial construction experience who can manage daily jobsite operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules, and drive projects from start to successful completion.
The Construction Superintendent will work closely with project managers, trades, vendors, inspectors, and internal teams in a collaborative field environment. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations on residential and commercial construction job sites.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors, materials, equipment, inspections, and jobsite sequencing.
- Maintain project schedules, short-term work plans, daily reports, punch lists, and field documentation.
- Review blueprints, specifications, plans, and construction documents to ensure work meets project requirements.
- Monitor jobsite quality, safety, cleanliness, progress, and compliance with building codes and company standards.
- Identify field issues, resolve conflicts, communicate updates, and help keep projects moving on schedule.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $110,000 to $140,000 per year.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Redmond, WA.

- Lead subcontractors, trades, vendors, and field personnel.
- Maintain project schedules, work plans, documentation, and punch lists.
- Coordinate inspections, quality control, safety, materials, and field issue resolution.
- 5+ years of construction superintendent, field superintendent, general superintendent, or comparable construction leadership experience required.
- Proven experience independently overseeing active construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, jobsite operations, building codes, inspections, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, plans, and construction documents.
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors, trades, vendors, and field personnel.
- Strong scheduling, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with project managers, owners, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to assigned jobsites.
- Stable and consistent construction work history required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing both residential and commercial construction projects.
- Experience with construction management or scheduling software.
- Strong professional references.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain clean, organized, safe, and professional jobsites.
- Track record of anticipating field issues before they impact schedule, cost, quality, or client satisfaction.
