Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Sr. IT Engineer to support a large-scale SAP digital transformation initiative within the energy and utilities industry in Columbus, OH. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced SAP professional who enjoys solving complex enterprise technology challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and helping deliver high-impact business systems.

The Sr. IT Engineer will contribute to SAP solution delivery across a modern enterprise environment, including S/4HANA, SAP Service Cloud, ABAP, SAP BTP, security, integrations, and DevSecOps practices. This role offers a hybrid schedule, meaningful transformation work, and the opportunity to partner with talented technical and business teams in a stable, mission-critical industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Support SAP solution delivery for enterprise digital transformation initiatives across an energy and utilities environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable SAP solutions.
- Assist with SAP design, configuration, development, integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing application support.
- Apply DevSecOps principles, SAP security models, and integration best practices to improve solution quality, reliability, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions in a multi-vendor enterprise environment.
- Contribute to technical documentation, deployment planning, standards development, and continuous improvement efforts.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract to Perm opportunity. 
- Contract Duration: August 2026 to February 2027.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule with Tuesday through Thursday in office and Monday and Friday remote.
- Location: Columbus, OH.
