As a Service Dispatcher, you will help manage the daily flow of drivers, vehicles, personnel, and service requests for a construction-related environment serving residential and commercial customers. Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule dispatch activity for drivers, vehicles, service personnel, equipment, and shipments to support timely service delivery.
- Monitor driver, fleet, and route status using GPS tracking systems, dispatch software, or transportation management systems.
- Communicate with drivers and field personnel to provide route updates, service instructions, schedule changes, and issue resolution.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate updates regarding service status, delivery timing, or dispatch changes.
- Maintain detailed dispatch logs, delivery records, communication notes, incident documentation, and performance information.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $18 to $19 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Coordinate daily dispatch schedules for drivers, vehicles, service personnel, equipment, and customer requests.
- Monitor routes, fleet activity, delivery status, and field operations using tracking tools and dispatch systems.
- Communicate with customers, drivers, warehouse teams, logistics staff, and field personnel to resolve issues and maintain service timelines.
- Maintain accurate operational records, dispatch logs, delivery times, incidents, and performance documentation.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant dispatch, call center, logistics, customer service, or field service coordination experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and professional customer updates.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize incoming requests, adjust schedules, and resolve time-sensitive service issues.
- Experience using dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, transportation management systems, or similar scheduling tools.
- Strong attention to detail when maintaining records, logs, reports, and customer communication notes.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure.
- Understanding of transportation regulations, company procedures, and safety protocols is helpful.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous dispatch experience in construction, residential service, commercial service, transportation, logistics, or field operations.
- Experience supporting drivers, technicians, installers, or field crews.
- Familiarity with route optimization, fleet efficiency tracking, fuel usage reporting, or on-time performance reporting.
- Prior call center or high-volume customer support experience.
