A growing architectural and design services firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects from schematic design through construction administration and closeout. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced architecture professional who enjoys managing client relationships, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and guiding high-quality design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all phases of architectural projects, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, construction administration, and project closeout.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, consultants, vendors, governing agencies, and internal project teams.
- Develop, monitor, and adjust project scopes, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, deliverables, and project documentation.
- Lead and coordinate project teams and consultants to resolve design, technical, code, schedule, and documentation issues.
- Review drawings, specifications, cost estimates, value analysis, RFI responses, change orders, meeting minutes, and professional correspondence.
- Mentor, delegate to, and supervise project team members while supporting design quality, coordination, and firm standards.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Salary range: $120,000 to $170,000 per year.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- 7 to 8 or more years of experience in architectural project production, coordination, and project management.
- Professional degree in architecture preferred, such as B. Arch or M. Arch.
- Architectural license strongly recommended, or actively pursuing licensure.
- Strong experience preparing and coordinating design documents across all phases of architectural projects.
- Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, BIM/Revit modeling, and presentation tools.
- Strong understanding of current building codes, code compliance, construction documents, specifications, and agency approvals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, clients, consultants, and internal team members simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, delegation, mentoring, communication, decision-making, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to write meeting minutes, RFI responses, change orders, RFPs, professional correspondence, and specifications.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Licensed architect with experience managing K-12, higher education, public agency, medical, or retail projects.
- Experience supervising up to six team members across multiple project phases.
- Strong graphic presentation, design communication, sketching, hand drawing, and 3D modeling skills.
- Experience with sustainable design techniques, Green Building Code requirements, material research, and exterior finish selection.
- Proven ability to support business development, marketing proposals, client interviews, and repeat client relationships.
