Seeking an Accountant for a Wilmington, NC based live music company, which owns & operates venues, produces music festivals, and promotes stadium-scale concerts and shows. This position reports to the Senior Accountant, working within the finance team in a multi-entity Sage Intacct environment, focused on real controls, producing monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for the leadership team, and daily accounting operations across a growing portfolio of entities. *Must have multi-entity cloud ERP experience for this key role. 



RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting
• Full-cycle A/P & A/R across multiple entities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices, track collections and resolve discrepancies

• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations

• Process intercompany transactions, allocations, and journal entries

• Maintain vendor records, W-9s, contracts, and 1099 compliance documentation

• Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns across multiple states

Month-End Close & Reporting

• Support month-end close: accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules

• Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities

• Prepare monthly and ad hoc financial reporting packages

Systems, Controls & Process

• Document and improve accounting standard operating procedures

• Coordinate with teams on payments, vendor compliance, and financial workflows



REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or similar field required
• 3-5 years of full-cycle accounting experience required 

• Must be experienced with multi-entity cloud ERP: Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Acumatica, Dynamics 365 Business or similar  
• Advanced Excel — pivot tables, lookups, and high-volume reconciliation work 
• Possessing high attention to detail, comfort operating independently in a fast-paced environment
