Job Summary

A Scheduler opportunity is available in Bethlehem, PA for a detail-oriented professional with customer service, call center, transportation, or logistics experience. This role supports a busy manufacturing and logistics environment by coordinating customer deliveries, pick-ups, relocations, order scheduling, and related follow-up through phone, email, Excel reports, and internal scheduling systems.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working in an office-based role, communicating with customers, solving order discrepancies, and keeping logistics activity organized and on schedule. The Scheduler will work closely with inventory control, order processing, sales, account management, and customer care teams in a collaborative environment where accuracy, teamwork, and follow-through are valued.

Candidates who are dependable, professional, organized, and comfortable managing multiple order updates throughout the day can build strong experience in scheduling, inventory coordination, customer service, and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Contact customers by phone and email to schedule available orders, deliveries, pick-ups, and relocations.
- Use Excel reports, databases, and internal scheduling systems to review order activity, update delivery dates, and maintain accurate notes.
- Research discrepancies with scheduled and non-scheduled orders and follow up with internal teams as needed.
- Coordinate with inventory control, order processing, sales, account managers, and other functional teams to support timely and accurate delivery activity.
- Print and review reports, bills of lading, and order documentation to ensure scheduling accuracy.
- Create manual orders when needed and perform additional administrative scheduling duties as assigned.


- Pay Rate: $20 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Schedule customer orders, deliveries, pick-ups, and relocations using phone, email, Excel reports, and internal systems.
- Maintain accurate order notes, scheduled dates, delivery notifications, and workflow updates.
- Research order discrepancies and coordinate resolution with internal departments.
- Support inventory control and customer care operations to help meet scheduling cycle time requirements.

- High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience is required.
- Must have office experience or call center experience.
- Resumes must reflect customer service experience in a call center or transportation/logistics environment.
- Database and spreadsheet skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, including Microsoft Excel.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail are required.
- Must have excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve, think critically, and follow up effectively.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced scheduling environment.
- Strong customer presentation and communication skills.
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to interact professionally at all levels internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in transportation, logistics, inventory control, order processing, or delivery scheduling.
- Experience using Oracle, delivery systems, customer care systems, or similar order management platforms.
- Previous experience reviewing ad hoc reports, bills of lading, or delivery documentation.
