Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales & Service Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Seattle, WA with a well-established mechanical services organization. This role is ideal for a business-minded service leader who can guide a growing operation focused on maintenance, repair, retrofit work, service agreements, and long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, customer retention, and overall business performance across the service organization.
- Lead, coach, and develop teams across sales, project management, and operations while building a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, margins, operating expenses, cash flow, collections, accounts receivable, and key performance indicators.
- Serve as a senior relationship leader for key customers, vendors, subcontractors, and strategic industry partners.
- Support sales strategy, service agreement growth, repair opportunities, equipment replacements, retrofit work, and market expansion initiatives.
- Review contracts, proposals, pricing, project scopes, and risk factors to support sound business decisions and operational compliance.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $130,000 to $190,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Full-time, exempt position.
- Monday through Friday schedule.
- Primarily daytime business hours.
- Limited travel required, with occasional overnight travel.
- Work environment includes a combination of office, customer site, and operational settings.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead service sales, account development, customer retention, and business growth initiatives.
- Oversee operational performance, team development, project execution support, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, margins, expenses, cash flow, and business metrics.
- Support contract review, pricing strategy, risk evaluation, and long-range planning.
- 10+ years of experience in service sales, operations leadership, business management, or a related leadership role.
- Strong background in a technical service, construction, mechanical, industrial, or facilities-related environment.
- Demonstrated success leading teams and driving profitable business growth.
- Experience managing annual operating budgets, revenue forecasting, financial reporting, and performance metrics.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with strategic accounts and key stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen, strategic planning ability, and operational decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead through change, influence others, solve complex problems, and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading a mechanical services, HVAC, facilities services, industrial service, or construction-related service business.
- Background supporting service agreements, maintenance programs, repairs, equipment replacements, and retrofit opportunities.
- Experience participating in recruiting, onboarding, succession planning, and employee retention efforts.
- Familiarity with proposal review, contract terms, pricing structures, subcontractor coordination, and project risk management.
