Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative, also known as a Licensed Direct Sales Agent, for a temp-to-hire opportunity based in Mason, OH. This role is primarily remote, with onsite reporting required for onboarding, training, and occasional business needs.
This is a strong opportunity for a licensed insurance sales professional who enjoys consultative selling, customer service, and helping customers select coverage options that fit their needs. You will join a supportive, performance-driven team environment with structured training, collaborative leadership, and the opportunity to build valuable experience in health insurance sales.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, goal-oriented, and comfortable managing leads through the full sales cycle while maintaining compliance and delivering a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with customers to evaluate needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Provide quotes, product information, and enrollment support in a clear and professional manner.
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals while delivering excellent customer service.
- Manage leads through the full sales cycle, from initial contact through enrollment.
- Maintain accurate customer records, CRM documentation, and compliance-related information.
- Stay current on product offerings, licensing requirements, and industry updates.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $23.15 per hour.
- Commission opportunities are available on every sale.
- Medical products: $15 per sale.
- Dental products: $10 per sale.
- Vision products: $5 per sale.
- Eligible employees may receive a bonus payout at the conclusion of the assignment.

- Candidates must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST.
- Available schedules include:
- 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
- 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
- 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
- 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Consult with customers and guide them through coverage options and enrollment.
- Manage sales leads, quotes, follow-ups, and customer documentation.
- Meet individual sales goals in a remote, performance-driven environment.
- Maintain compliance with insurance licensing and customer record requirements.
- Active Resident Health Insurance License required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to maintain required insurance licenses.
- Strong communication, active listening, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive in a remote work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate CRM and customer records.
- Fingerprinting may be required in certain states.
Preferred Qualifications
- Call center experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Inside sales or consultative sales experience.
- Experience working in a goal-oriented or performance-driven sales environment.
