We are seeking a Sales Administrator for a direct hire opportunity in Auburn, CA. This role supports sales, customer service, order processing, quoting, and product information requests for products sold nationally through distributor and customer channels.

The Sales Administrator will play an important role in helping customers receive accurate pricing, product details, delivery updates, quotations, and order support. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, technical aptitude, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple requests while maintaining accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to distributor, end user, manufacturer partner, and outside sales representative requests regarding product details, pricing, availability, delivery, and quotations.
- Prepare sales quotations for standard stock items, special orders, large projects, and competitive bid opportunities.
- Process sales orders received by phone, online systems, and email while providing confirmations and delivery updates to customers.
- Use manufacturer websites, internal systems, CRM tools, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel to access, organize, and report sales information.
- Coordinate with outside sales staff on quote activity, product selection, specification support, and order follow-up.
- Manage the ordering and shipment of sales samples while maintaining accurate customer and account information.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay range: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour.
- Location: Auburn, CA.
- Provide daily sales support for products sold nationally.
- Create accurate quotations, process orders, and support customer delivery communications.
- Coordinate with outside sales representatives to assist with quote activity and closing orders.
- Use CRM and internal systems to maintain customer, contact, and key account information.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant administrative support, sales support, customer service, or related experience.
- Experience responding to customer, distributor, and sales team inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Proficiency with contact management software, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn product details, pricing structures, availability, and specification information.
- Positive attitude, high energy, reliable attendance, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to contribute effectively in a small office environment as part of an established support team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial and commercial products sold through the electrical wholesale channel.
- Familiarity with manufacturer website tools, online ordering systems, or product specification resources.
- Experience supporting outside sales representatives, distributors, or manufacturer partners.
- Background creating quotations for stock items, special orders, large projects, or competitive bids.
