Job Summary

A brand-new quick-service restaurant location in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking an experienced Restaurant Store Manager to lead daily operations, build a strong team, and deliver a consistent guest experience. This is a direct hire opportunity for a hands-on restaurant leader with a background in high-volume fast food or quick-service restaurant management.

The Restaurant Store Manager will play a key leadership role in staffing, training, scheduling, inventory, cash controls, labor management, food safety, customer service, and overall restaurant performance. This opportunity is ideal for a bilingual English and Spanish manager who enjoys developing employees, creating positive team culture, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

This role offers the chance to join a new location from the ground up, work with supportive leadership, and build a team focused on quality, service, accountability, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, labor cost control, food quality, guest service, cash management, and compliance.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, and manage crew members, leads, and assistant managers to ensure strong performance and adequate coverage.
- Oversee inventory, food orders, supply orders, revenue reconciliation, invoices, reporting, audits, and operational paperwork.
- Ensure all employees follow food safety, safety, security, labor law, break compliance, and company operating standards.
- Resolve customer concerns, monitor guest satisfaction, support secret shopper results, and maintain a clean, safe, well-run restaurant.
- Manage equipment upkeep, facility standards, point-of-sale administration, employee documentation, and required training records.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $56,000 to $70,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage daily operations for a high-volume quick-service restaurant.
- Lead hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management for restaurant staff.
- Control labor, food, supply, cash, inventory, and operating costs.
- Maintain food safety, employee compliance, customer service, and restaurant operating standards.

- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
- 3 to 5 years of restaurant management experience is required.
- Must have management experience with a major fast food or quick-service restaurant chain.
- Prior Unit Manager, Store Manager, General Manager, or similar restaurant leadership experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food preparation standards, inventory control, cash handling, labor scheduling, and POS systems.
- Ability to hire, train, coach, discipline, and direct the work of two or more employees.
- Strong communication skills in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
- Professional, reliable, team-oriented, and able to exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow and enforce company policies, food safety procedures, safety regulations, and local, state, and federal laws.
- Ability to reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience helping open a new restaurant location.
- Experience leading quarterly safety meetings, training programs, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Strong background managing guest satisfaction scores, secret shopper results, and operational visitation checklists.
