Job Summary

We are seeking a Regional Category Planner for a direct hire opportunity in Miami, FL. This role supports merchandise planning, assortment management, innovation rollouts, promotions, vendor setup, and category performance reporting within the travel, transportation, and tourism industry.

The Regional Category Planner will work closely with regional teams, country stakeholders, vendors, and internal business partners to ensure assortment updates, product launches, de-listings, promotions, and seasonal initiatives are executed accurately and on time. This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented merchandise planning professional who enjoys cross-functional collaboration, structured processes, and the fast pace of retail category execution.


Responsibilities
- Manage product listings, extensions, de-listings, and assortment updates in the Assortment Management Tool based on the regional innovation program.
- Support implementation of product launches by following up on orders, system parameters, location communication, and go-to-market readiness.
- Maintain assortment reports by door, identify gaps, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate corrections with Master Data.
- Create and monitor promotions, animations, seasonal campaigns, tactical liquidations, testers, tastings, and urgent incidents.
- Review assortment performance by vendor, brand, and SKU, and provide KPI reporting to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with countries, vendors, category teams, and internal partners on rollouts, promotional activity, assortment modifications, and marketing calendar updates.

- Review assortment performance, identify reporting gaps, and communicate KPI updates to internal stakeholders.
- Partner with country teams, vendors, category stakeholders, and Master Data to support accurate go-to-market execution.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in merchandise planning, category planning, assortment management, retail operations, buying support, or a related commercial planning role.
- Strong understanding of assortment management, SKU performance, vendor setup, product lifecycle updates, and promotional execution.
- Experience working with product data, reporting tools, assortment systems, or similar category management platforms.
- Ability to analyze vendor, brand, SKU, and door-level performance reports and identify gaps or discrepancies.
