Job Summary
A growing medical device organization is hiring a Regional Business Manager to lead business development and market expansion across Latin America. This direct hire opportunity is based in Fremont, CA and is ideal for a strategic sales leader with strong medical device experience, distributor management expertise, and the ability to build trusted relationships with surgeons, healthcare providers, channel partners, and key decision-makers.
The Regional Business Manager will play a highly visible role in developing new markets, strengthening distributor performance, supporting product launches, and increasing market share throughout the LATAM region. This opportunity offers strong leadership visibility, cross-functional collaboration, an innovative medical device environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in international healthcare markets. The role begins with an on-site training period before transitioning into regular regional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional business strategies to grow sales, market share, and distributor performance across Latin America.
- Identify new business opportunities, expand account relationships, and support market entry initiatives in assigned countries.
- Manage and strengthen distributor partnerships through business planning, performance reviews, training, and ongoing sales support.
- Build strong relationships with surgeons, healthcare providers, hospitals, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
- Support new product launches, regional marketing initiatives, customer education, and clinical adoption efforts.
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and regional business meetings.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Fremont, CA.
- Travel: Approximately 50% throughout Latin America.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead regional business development and sales growth initiatives across Latin America.
- Manage distributor relationships, market expansion plans, and new account development.
- Support product launches, customer engagement, and regional sales and marketing execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive long-term growth in the medical device market.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant sales, business development, or regional management experience.
- Medical device sales experience required.
- Experience developing business and managing distributor channels across Latin America.
- Strong understanding of sales strategy, marketing execution, market development, and channel growth.
- Proven ability to build relationships with surgeons, healthcare providers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are highly preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% throughout the region.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced international business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience launching medical device products in Latin American markets.
- Established relationships with healthcare providers, distributors, or clinical stakeholders in LATAM.
- Experience representing medical device products at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Portuguese language skills are a plus for broader regional coverage.
