We are seeking a Receptionist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in New Orleans, LA. This role is ideal for a dependable administrative professional who enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors and callers while also supporting important accounts receivable functions.
This position offers a balanced mix of front-office administration, customer service, It is a great opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years of receptionist, administrative, to learn skills in accounts receivable. This position is for someone who wants to grow in a professional office environment within the food and beverage production industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, answer incoming calls and emails, and provide professional front-office customer service.
- Manage general reception duties, administrative support tasks, and daily office coordination.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $17.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Temp-to-hire.
- Provide front-office reception and administrative support.
- Process invoices, payments, and accounts receivable transactions.
- Maintain accurate customer account records and assist with collections follow-up.
- Support account reconciliation and billing discrepancy resolution.
- 1 to 2 years of receptionist, administrative, billing, or accounts receivable experience.
- Strong customer service, communication, and professional phone skills.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
- Comfortable working with numbers, invoices, payments, and financial records.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
- Dependable, professional, and positive team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting an accounting or finance team in an office environment.
- Previous accounts receivable, invoicing, payment posting, or collections experience.
- Experience in food and beverage production, manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry.
- Familiarity with accounting software or customer account management systems.
