Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist to provide phone coverage. This is a straightforward customer service and phone coverage position focused primarily on answering incoming calls, assisting callers with basic questions, and directing them to the appropriate person, department, or resource.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, personable, and comfortable interacting with the public throughout the workday.
Key Responsibilities
-Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
-Direct callers to the appropriate person, department, or resource.
-Take accurate messages when needed.
-Provide basic information to callers as appropriate.
-Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor when interacting with the public.
-Provide consistent phone coverage throughout the workday.
-Assist with basic administrative tasks and other duties as needed.
Qualifications
-Previous receptionist, front desk, call center, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
-Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
Professional and pleasant phone presence.
-Reliable and dependable attendance.
-Ability to handle a steady volume of incoming calls.
-Comfortable interacting with the public.
-Basic computer skills.
-Ability to work independently and remain focused while providing phone coverage.
Ideal Candidate
