Job Summary
A well-established law firm in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Real Estate Legal Assistant to support a busy real estate practice. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys working closely with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in commercial and residential real estate transactions.
The Real Estate Legal Assistant will play an important role in keeping transactions organized, deadlines on track, and client communications handled professionally. Key Responsibilities
- Draft, revise, review, and format real estate contracts, leases, closing documents, correspondence, and related legal materials.
- Coordinate real estate transaction preparation, including document organization, closing support, and communication with involved parties.
- Maintain accurate legal files, transaction records, calendars, deadlines, and matter documentation.
- Support multiple attorneys with administrative tasks, document management, scheduling, client communications, and matter follow-up.
- Handle billing support, time entry review, client invoicing, new business intake, and matter opening procedures.
- Protect confidential firm, client, and transaction information with professionalism and discretion.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $50,000 to $70,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- Work Arrangement: Onsite in West Palm Beach, FL.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support attorneys with commercial and residential real estate transactions from intake through closing.
- Prepare, revise, redline, organize, and maintain real estate contracts, leases, and legal documents.
- Coordinate calendars, deadlines, client communications, billing, invoicing, and matter administration.
- Assist with transaction workflow, closing preparation, and legal file management.
- 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within real estate law.
- Prior experience supporting multiple attorneys in a law firm environment.
- Strong understanding of real estate transactions, legal documentation, leases, contracts, and closing processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience using document management systems and redlining legal documents.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional client service approach.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive legal and client information appropriately.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience supporting both commercial and residential real estate matters.
- Experience with legal billing, time entry review, client invoicing, and new matter intake.
- Strong relationship management skills and comfort communicating with clients, attorneys, lenders, title companies, and transaction parties.
