We are seeking a Project Manager - Tenant Improvement for a direct hire opportunity in Monterey Park, CA. The Project Manager - Tenant Improvement will oversee project planning, coordination, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor communication, and successful delivery from preconstruction through closeout. Key Responsibilities

- Manage tenant improvement construction projects from planning and kickoff through completion and closeout.
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, materials, permits, and field activities.
- Communicate regularly with clients, internal teams, superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and other project stakeholders.
- Review project documents, drawings, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and related construction documentation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and take action to keep work moving efficiently.
- Support quality control, safety expectations, and successful project delivery in alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $80,000 to $130,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage tenant improvement construction projects for commercial, office, residential, or related environments.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and construction documentation.
- Lead project communication with clients, field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Support project closeout, change management, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

- 3-5 years of project management experience in construction or a closely related field.
- Experience with tenant improvement, commercial construction, office build-outs, or similar project types.
- Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Ability to coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and project stakeholders.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing tenant improvement projects in commercial, office, or mixed-use construction environments.
- Familiarity with construction project management software, scheduling tools, or document control platforms.
- Experience working with architects, engineers, inspectors, property managers, and client representatives.
- Strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
