Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support construction, facility expansion, renovation, and building closeout projects in Moon Township, PA. This onsite role is ideal for a construction or engineering professional who enjoys coordinating multiple moving parts, working with contractors and design teams, and helping projects move efficiently from planning through completion.
This opportunity offers steady full-time hours, long-term project visibility, and the chance to work with a collaborative construction group that includes experienced Project Engineers and Project Management leadership. Candidates can expect a supportive team environment, clear project coordination processes, and exposure to a variety of facility, infrastructure, and capacity-related construction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support multiple construction projects, including facility expansions, renovations, new builds, infrastructure improvements, and building closeout activities.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, landlords, IT teams, and internal stakeholders to support project execution.
- Track project schedules, deliverables, budgets, cost forecasts, funding requests, contractor performance, and overall project progress.
- Manage facility closeout activities, including coordinating repairs, resolving outstanding issues, supporting inspections, and ensuring timely turnover.
- Review construction documents, drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements to support planning and execution.
- Use e-Builder and other project tools for documentation, tracking, reporting, and project coordination.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $46.69 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Location: Moon Township, PA, onsite.
- Travel: No travel required.
- Contract duration: Through February 2027, with potential extension to June based on budget and business needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage construction, site development, infrastructure, facility expansion, renovation, and building closeout projects.
- Coordinate design, construction, permitting, inspections, commissioning, operational handoff, and stakeholder communication.
- Track project timelines, budgets, cost forecasts, contractor performance, documentation, and project deliverables.
- Support large-scale facility improvement, capacity, logistics, and construction modernization initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline required.
- Minimum of 3 years of construction project management, project engineering, civil engineering, or related construction coordination experience required.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, vendors, architects, engineering firms, landlords, consultants, or other project stakeholders.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply construction documents, engineering drawings, specifications, estimates, schedules, and project requirements.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction processes, construction documentation, and project management practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication, organization, vendor management, problem-solving, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience using e-Builder or similar project management/document control systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting logistics, distribution, warehouse, transportation, industrial, or operational facility projects.
- Experience with material handling upgrades, conveyor dismantling, automation-related facility improvements, or equipment installation oversight.
- Familiarity with municipal approvals, inspections, fire officials, regulatory coordination, and Certificates of Occupancy.
- Experience working with general contractors, developers, engineering consultants, landlords, and multi-site project teams.
- EIT, PE, PMP, or related construction/project management credentials are a plus.
