Job Summary
We are seeking a Production Compounder for a direct hire opportunity in Livermore, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional with experience in batch production, raw material handling, equipment sanitation, and cGMP-compliant processes.
The Production Compounder will support bulk batch manufacturing in a structured production environment where accuracy, teamwork, and quality are essential. This is a long-term opportunity with a stable operation, supportive leadership, and a team-oriented culture focused on safety, compliance, and consistent production results.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pull, and prepare appropriate raw materials for bulk production batches.
- Accurately weigh raw materials and follow Bulk Batch Tickets, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Assemble, maneuver, clean, and sanitize production equipment before and during batch manufacturing.
- Perform batch production activities including heating, emulsifying, transferring product, and preparing bulk materials for storage or packaging.
- Work closely with Quality Control throughout the manufacturing process to support product quality and cGMP compliance.
- Assist with facility cleaning, sanitation, physical inventory counts, and other production-related duties as assigned.

- Pay range: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manufacture bulk batches according to cGMP guidelines, SOPs, work instructions, and batch documentation.
- Prepare, weigh, heat, emulsify, transfer, and stage raw materials and finished bulk product.
- Clean, sanitize, assemble, and maneuver equipment used in production.
- Partner with QC and production team members to complete batches accurately and efficiently.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant production, compounding, manufacturing, chemical processing, biotech, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, or regulated batch production experience.
- Ability to follow strict written procedures, batch tickets, and quality documentation requirements.
- Experience with raw material handling, accurate weighing, equipment cleaning, and sanitation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and cGMP compliance.
- Ability to work effectively in a two-person team environment and communicate clearly with production and QC personnel.
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable performing physical production tasks in a manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a cGMP, FDA-regulated, biotech, pharmaceutical, personal care, cosmetic, chemical, or food manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with bulk batch production, emulsification, heating, transfer processes, and production equipment sanitation.
- Experience assisting with inventory counts and maintaining clean, compliant production areas.
