Key Responsibilities

- Process accurate and timely payroll for employees in a construction environment.
- Maintain, verify, and update employee payroll information in internal systems.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies while maintaining confidential employee information.
- Support HR administration, including onboarding documentation, employee record updates, and personnel file maintenance.
- Ensure employee changes related to compensation, position, status, and other updates are properly entered and documented.
- Partner with internal teams to maintain data accuracy and resolve payroll or employee information issues.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary Range: $50,000 to $80,000 per year.
- Employment Type: Permanent opportunity, direct hire or temp-to-hire.
- Location: Johnstown, CO, right off Highway 34.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Process construction payroll accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain employee payroll, HR, and personnel documentation in internal systems.
- Support onboarding, employee changes, and HR administrative processes.
- Research payroll discrepancies and ensure employee data integrity.

- Construction industry experience is required.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience preferred based on role level.
- Proven payroll processing experience.
- Previous HR or HR administrative experience.
- Experience working with HR, payroll, or employee management systems.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation quality.
- Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information professionally.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, dependable, team-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting payroll for field-based construction employees.
- Familiarity with employee lifecycle changes, including onboarding, compensation updates, position changes, and employment status changes.
- Experience maintaining accurate records across multiple HR or payroll systems.
- Strong understanding of construction payroll workflows and employee documentation requirements.
