Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Service Representative for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Beverly Hills, CA. As a Patient Service Representative, you will serve as a primary point of contact for patients in person and by phone. You will help create a positive patient experience by managing check-in and check-out, verifying insurance information, scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and resolving patient concerns with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet patients, provide front-desk support, and assist with patient questions, concerns, and service needs.
- Complete patient check-in and check-out, collect co-payments, issue receipts, and reconcile payments accurately.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, benefit information, referrals, and authorizations in CS-Link/Epic.
- Schedule appointments, complete registration tasks, and support accurate patient records.
- Handle patient and provider correspondence by phone and in person while explaining policies, procedures, and services.
- Escalate patient issues appropriately while maintaining a professional, courteous, and service-focused approach.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $26.00 to $27.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage patient registration, check-in, check-out, scheduling, and front-desk support in a healthcare setting.
- Verify insurance, referrals, authorizations, demographics, and benefit information accurately.
- Support patient communication, issue resolution, payment collection, and administrative workflow.
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide service-focused support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant healthcare administrative, patient services, or medical office experience.
- Strong patient registration experience in an outpatient clinic, hospital, or medical office environment.
- Experience using CS-Link/Epic or a similar electronic health record system.
- Knowledge of insurance verification, referrals, authorizations, co-pay collection, and patient account procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, patient-centered approach.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities throughout the day.
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and solution-focused when assisting patients and escalating concerns.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience supporting a busy outpatient clinic or hospital-based medical office.
- Familiarity with specialty clinic workflows, appointment scheduling protocols, and front-office healthcare operations.
- Experience providing high-touch service in a patient-centered healthcare environment.
