Job Summary

A well-established law firm in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Paralegal | Real Estate to support its Real Estate Practice Group. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented real estate paralegal with strong commercial transaction experience and the ability to support attorneys through all phases of complex closings.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a stable, professional law firm environment with a sophisticated real estate practice, collaborative attorneys, and meaningful involvement in high-value commercial and residential real estate transactions. The right candidate will bring strong title and survey review skills, excellent organization, and the ability to manage deadlines with precision.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist attorneys with commercial and residential real estate purchase and sale transactions from due diligence through post-closing.
- Prepare, review, and organize closing documents, transaction materials, signature packages, settlement statements, and related correspondence.
- Order and review title commitments, title exceptions, surveys, zoning reports, UCC and judgment searches, entity documents, good standing certificates, and estoppel letters.
- Prepare title and survey objection letters, memoranda, escrow closing letters, and other transaction-related documents.
- Coordinate closings by managing checklists, timelines, communication with transaction parties, filing, recording, closing binders, and post-closing matters.
- Review and abstract lease documents and assist with loan documentation, including UCC Financing Statements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support complex commercial and residential real estate transactions from start to finish.
- Coordinate closings, transaction timelines, signature packages, settlement statements, and post-closing deliverables.
- Manage title, survey, due diligence, filing, recording, and closing binder processes.
- Assist with loan documents, UCC filings, lease abstracts, and transaction documentation.

- 5+ years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal in a law firm environment.
- Strong commercial real estate transaction experience required.
- Strong title and survey review skills.
- Experience coordinating real estate closings and managing multiple transaction deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of real estate terminology, transaction documentation, due diligence processes, and closing procedures.
- Proficiency with legal and office technology tools used to manage documents, deadlines, and transaction workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, handle rush requests, and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience supporting sophisticated commercial real estate transactions in a law firm setting.
- Experience with zoning reports, estoppel letters, entity documents, title objections, survey objections, escrow closing letters, and closing binders.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and other transaction parties.
