A respected legal services firm in Shreveport, LA is seeking an experienced Paralegal - Personal Injury for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys supporting attorneys, organizing case materials, communicating with clients, and contributing to successful case outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist attorneys with legal research, case preparation, document management, and trial support.
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including motions, correspondence, contracts, pleadings, and case materials.
- Interview clients, gather case details, and help maintain accurate client and case documentation.
- Organize, file, and maintain legal records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with firm procedures.
- Support attorneys with deadline tracking, scheduling, case updates, and preparation of materials for hearings, mediations, and trial.
- Contribute to a professional, team-oriented work environment focused on excellent client service.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $50,000 to $65,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support personal injury attorneys with case preparation, legal documentation, and trial-related tasks.
- Manage client information, case files, deadlines, and legal records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Draft and review legal correspondence, motions, and related case documents.
- Assist with legal research and preparation of organized case materials.

- 3-5 years of experience as a Paralegal is required.
- Personal injury experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Experience using general legal software is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor, reliability, and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment while managing deadlines and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting personal injury litigation from intake through settlement or trial preparation.
- Familiarity with legal case management systems.
- Prior experience working in a high-volume legal office or plaintiff personal injury practice.
