We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative for a full-time, direct hire opportunity serving Spokane and the Eastern Washington territory. This role is with an established industrial equipment and service provider that supports customers in manufacturing, industrial, municipal, commercial, and related environments.
This is a strong opportunity for a relationship-driven B2B sales professional who enjoys being in the field, developing new accounts, and becoming a trusted advisor to customers. The company offers a stable business platform, supportive internal sales and technical resources, uncapped commission potential, and the autonomy to build a high-performing territory.
The ideal Outside Sales Representative will bring solid outside sales fundamentals, technical curiosity, strong follow-through, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships. Prior industrial or equipment sales experience is helpful, but a strong sales background and willingness to learn are the most important factors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business across Spokane and the surrounding Eastern Washington market.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Spend approximately 75% of the time in the field meeting customers, prospecting, and developing the territory.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment, service, and repair solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including outreach, discovery, quoting, follow-up, and closing.
- Partner with internal sales, service, and technical teams to deliver responsive customer solutions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary of $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Total earning potential of approximately $100,000 to $160,000+.
- Uncapped commission.
- Vehicle allowance and mileage reimbursement.
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits.
- Paid time off and holidays.
- Full-time, direct hire opportunity.
- Develop and grow a field-based sales territory throughout Spokane and Eastern Washington.
- Prospect into industrial, manufacturing, municipal, commercial, and related accounts.
- Manage customer relationships from initial outreach through quoting, follow-up, and close.
- Collaborate with internal sales, service, and technical teams to support customer needs.
- 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and grow a territory.
- Strong relationship-building, account management, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to balance hunting for new business with farming and expanding existing accounts.
- Technical aptitude and genuine interest in learning industrial products, equipment, and applications.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a field-based territory.
- Strong communication, follow-through, problem-solving, and pipeline management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, equipment, service, repair, or related markets.
- Familiarity with customers in manufacturing, municipal, commercial, or industrial environments.
- Prior experience with commissioned sales, territory growth, and account development.
