Job Summary

We are seeking an Office Manager/Workplace Specialist for a temporary contract opportunity in the Westlake/Roanoke, TX area. This role is ideal for a workplace operations, office management, facilities, hospitality, or event management professional who enjoys creating a productive, welcoming, and well-organized office environment.

The Office Manager/Workplace Specialist will support a well-established financial services organization by improving the employee workplace experience, coordinating office services, managing vendors, and supporting workplace projects from planning through completion. This is a great opportunity to work with collaborative teams, supportive leadership, and cross-functional partners while making an immediate impact on day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily workplace operations to support a smooth, professional, and employee-focused office environment.
- Manage workplace projects, including space planning, office moves, workplace enhancements, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Partner with Workplace, IT, Physical Security, leadership, and other internal teams to support site needs and employee experience initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships related to furniture, food service, audiovisual support, workplace services, and office operations.
- Support office events, employee engagement activities, and workplace experience programs.
- Evaluate workplace processes and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, collaboration, and service quality.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temporary contract.
- Contract length: 3 to 4 months.
- Location: Westlake/Roanoke, TX area.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage workplace operations, office services, space planning, vendor coordination, and employee experience initiatives.
- Coordinate workplace projects from planning through execution, including timelines, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Support office events, employee engagement activities, and cross-functional workplace initiatives.
- Identify process improvements that enhance workplace efficiency, service delivery, and the overall employee experience.

- 3 or more years of experience in workplace operations, office management, facilities, hospitality, event management, or a related field.
- Experience managing vendors and coordinating workplace services.
- Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, emotional intelligence, and sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience using Google Workspace, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and Slides.
- Experience supporting workplace operations in a corporate, financial services, or professional office environment.
