The Office Clerk will support daily document processing by opening mail, preparing files for scanning, operating scanning equipment, and helping maintain accurate digital records. This position offers steady weekday hours, a structured work environment, and the opportunity to build long-term skills in administrative support and records management.
Key Responsibilities
- Open, separate, and organize incoming mail and documents for processing.
- Prepare physical documents for scanning by removing staples, smoothing pages, and organizing materials.
- Operate high-speed scanning equipment and complete basic digital quality checks.
- Maintain accuracy while handling paper records and electronic document images.
- Lift, move, and organize storage boxes weighing 10 to 50 lbs as needed.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily processing expectations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour, W2.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Location: Parma, OH 44130.
- Prepare, organize, and process incoming mail and physical documents.
- Operate scanning equipment and perform basic quality checks on digital files.
- Support records management by maintaining accurate and organized document workflow.
- Lift and move storage boxes during an 8-hour shift.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 2 years of administrative, clerical, document processing, mailroom, or records management experience preferred.
- Basic computer and typing skills required.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production or office environment.
- Dependable attendance and a team-focused work style.
