Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Servicing Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Oxnard, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on mortgage servicing professional with strong expertise in escrow administration, insurance, tax servicing, investor servicing, reconciliations, and year-end reporting.

The Mortgage Loan Servicing Manager will play a key role in supporting accurate, compliant, and timely servicing operations while partnering closely with internal teams across Accounting, Finance, Lending, Compliance, Risk, Human Resources, and Learning and Development.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and oversee mortgage escrow accounts, including tax payments, insurance coverage, insurance exceptions, force-placed insurance, and loss draft claim disbursements.
- Prepare and review payoff statements, respond to escrow and title company requests, and support investor and participation servicing activities.
- Perform or review servicing reconciliations, research exceptions, resolve discrepancies, and support wire activity related to servicing functions.
- Support year-end mortgage servicing processes, including IRS Form 1098 reporting and related compliance documentation.
- Assist with audits, examinations, internal reviews, regulatory updates, process improvements, system enhancements, and investor requirement changes.
- Provide technical guidance, training support, and operational oversight to ensure servicing accuracy, compliance, and a strong member-focused service culture.

Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $38.20 to $47.75 per hour.
- Higher-level candidates may be considered for a higher title and compensation alignment.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Oversee escrow, insurance, tax administration, investor servicing, reconciliations, and year-end mortgage servicing activities.
- Support audits, exams, compliance reviews, investor requirements, and regulatory servicing obligations.
- Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Lending, Compliance, Risk, Human Resources, and Learning and Development teams.
- Provide day-to-day operational oversight, technical support, and process improvement input for mortgage servicing functions.

- Minimum 5 years of mortgage lending and/or mortgage servicing experience, with 6 to 10 years preferred based on the role level.
- Strong hands-on experience with escrow accounts, insurance administration, tax payments, investor servicing, and participation servicing.
- Experience with year-end servicing processes, including IRS Form 1098 reporting.
- Solid understanding of mortgage loan servicing procedures, related laws and regulations, and compliance expectations.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state requirements, including NCUA, CFPB, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Federal Home Loan Bank guidelines.
- Knowledge of BSA, AML, and OFAC regulations as they apply to mortgage servicing.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must register as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System, including fingerprint submission and FBI criminal background check.
- Strong analytical, organizational, research, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, thorough, and timely work.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong customer or member service skills, including timely follow-through, professionalism, and the ability to manage difficult situations calmly.
- Ability to multi-task, balance individual and team responsibilities, accept feedback, and work consistently during scheduled days and times.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac servicing or loan participations.
- Experience with FICS, Cotality, Mortgage Servicer, and SWBC.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, coaching, or mentoring experience.
- Experience contributing to training, documentation, onboarding, and process improvement initiatives within a mortgage servicing environment.
