We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Disclosure Specialist for a contract/temporary opportunity in El Monte, CA. This role is ideal for a mortgage operations professional with strong disclosure preparation experience, excellent accuracy, and a solid understanding of residential lending workflows.
The Mortgage Disclosure Specialist will support timely and compliant disclosure issuance, including initial disclosures, revised Loan Estimates, Change of Circumstance disclosures, and Closing Disclosures. Key Responsibilities
- Review newly submitted mortgage loan applications through the Loan Origination System within required timelines.
- Validate borrower information, loan terms, fees, and supporting documentation before disclosure issuance.
- Prepare and deliver initial disclosure packages, revised Loan Estimates, Change of Circumstance disclosures, and Closing Disclosures.
- Monitor disclosure deadlines and resolve data discrepancies or documentation issues that may affect timely delivery.
- Ensure disclosure activities comply with applicable mortgage regulations, internal policies, and service-level requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to disclosure preparation and issuance.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $26 to $28 per hour.
- Location: El Monte, CA.
- Review mortgage loan applications and validate loan data before disclosure issuance.
- Prepare initial disclosures, revised Loan Estimates, Change of Circumstance disclosures, and Closing Disclosures.
- Monitor disclosure timelines and resolve data or documentation issues.
- Support compliance with mortgage disclosure regulations, internal policies, and service-level requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant mortgage, banking, loan operations, disclosure, or residential lending experience.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage loan documentation, disclosure preparation, and loan origination workflows.
- Ability to review fees, loan terms, borrower information, and disclosure documents with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organization, data entry, and documentation skills.
- Expert-level PC proficiency and ability to work effectively within a Loan Origination System.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to meet regulatory deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to a fast-paced, changing business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in a bank residential mortgage lending environment is preferred.
- Experience preparing Loan Estimates, revised disclosures, Change of Circumstance disclosures, and Closing Disclosures is preferred.
