A growing team in Chatsworth, CA is seeking an experienced Mobile Device Tester to inspect, test, and prepare Apple and Android devices for shipment. This Mobile Device Tester role offers a great work environment, steady Monday through Friday schedule, and room for growth within the organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable evaluating mobile devices for usability, condition, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect Apple and Android mobile devices to determine usability, quality, and overall condition.
- Test cell phones for functionality, defects, damage, and repair needs.
- Prepare tested devices and accessories for packing and shipment.
- Generate shipping labels and support outbound shipping processes.
- Maintain accuracy, organization, and quality standards throughout the testing process.
- Communicate device issues or quality concerns to the appropriate team members.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Location: Chatsworth, CA 91311.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Perform detailed inspections of Apple and Android cellular devices.
- Test mobile devices to confirm functionality, usability, and quality.
- Pack cell phones and accessories for shipment.
- Generate accurate shipping labels for outbound orders.
- Must have recent prior experience testing or repairing cell phones.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred based on role level.
- Knowledge of Apple and Android mobile devices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or quality issues.
- Ability to follow testing procedures, packing requirements, and shipping processes.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production or quality assurance environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mobile device refurbishment, repair, diagnostics, or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with packing, labeling, and shipping processes.
- Ability to work well in a team-focused environment with a commitment to accuracy and productivity.
