We Are Hiring a Medical Receptionist / Patient Access Representative!
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, physician practice, hospital, or healthcare setting who are passionate about patient care and delivering a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:
* Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
* Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and inquiries.
* Complete patient registration and admission processes accurately and efficiently.
* Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for healthcare services.
* Calculate and collect patient financial responsibility, including copayments, coinsurance, deductibles.
* Maintain accurate patient demographic, insurance, and financial information.
* Process patient forms and documentation while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of patient services experience.
* Previous experience working in a medical office, outpatient clinic, physician/doctor's office, healthcare setting.
* Experience with patient registration and insurance verification.
* Proficiency with CS Link and/or Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
