Key Responsibilities

- Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments using office scheduling systems.
- Verify patient information, collect required documents, and maintain accurate records.
- Support check-in and check-out processes while helping ensure a smooth patient flow.
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning, and office coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $26.00 to $27.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Los Angeles, CA.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage front desk reception and patient-facing administrative support.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, patient check-in, and office communication.
- Maintain accurate patient records and support daily healthcare office operations.

- 1-2 years of administrative, clerical, or medical office experience.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and welcoming communication style.
- Ability to answer phones, manage scheduling, and handle patient inquiries efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail when entering, updating, and verifying patient information.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare office environment.
- Dependable, organized, and able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Front Desk Coordinator, Patient Services Representative, or similar healthcare office role.
- Familiarity with electronic health records, appointment scheduling systems, or medical office software.
- Knowledge of patient registration, insurance verification, or healthcare administrative workflows.
- Bilingual communication skills may be helpful in serving a diverse patient population.
