Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Material Handler for a temporary contract opportunity in Fayetteville, NC. This role supports production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, packaging, recycling, and material movement operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.
The Material Handler will play an important role in keeping production running safely and efficiently by preparing materials, handling products, supporting inventory accuracy, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This is a strong opportunity for candidates with warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling experience who are comfortable working a rotating day and night shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely package, handle, label, move, recycle, or scrap products according to production and quality requirements.
- Support production operations through interleaving, offline table work, equipment preparation, and general warehouse support.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, managing supplies, cycle counting, inventory control, and material staging.
- Operate forklifts, yard tractors, and other mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift logs, turnover documentation, and related inventory or warehouse information.
- Perform housekeeping, safety checks, minor preventive maintenance, lockout/tagout activities, and support environmental standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $19 per hour.
- Job Type: Temporary contract.
- Schedule: Dupont rotating shift.
- Shift Pattern: 4 days from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 3 days off, 4 nights from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, 3 days off.
- Location: Fayetteville, NC.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Package, label, stage, move, and handle materials in support of production and warehouse operations.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, supply coordination, inventory counts, and truck loading and unloading.
- Operate forklifts, yard tractors, and related mobile equipment as needed.
- Support safety, housekeeping, maintenance, documentation, and production turnover activities.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in material handling, warehouse, logistics, production, shipping and receiving, or a similar environment.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes both day and night shifts.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely throughout the shift.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, housekeeping, and environmental standards.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, follow procedures, communicate clearly, and work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to support audits, emergency response activities, and other production or warehouse needs as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift experience or experience operating other warehouse, yard, or mobile equipment.
- Experience with packaging equipment, warehouse equipment troubleshooting, inventory control, cycle counting, or shipping and receiving.
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures, preventive maintenance tasks, and industrial safety practices.
