Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Manager-Banking for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Rosa, CA. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced marketing communications professional who can lead branding, digital marketing, social media, website content, public relations, and community engagement initiatives within the banking and consumer lending industry.
The Marketing Manager will play a highly visible leadership role, working closely with senior leadership, branch teams, vendors, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure marketing efforts support organizational growth and brand consistency. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, coordination, and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, branding initiatives, and marketing communications.
- Manage the organization’s digital presence, including website content, social media strategy, online communications, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with external consultants, advertising agencies, media partners, and vendors to produce collateral, advertising, promotional materials, event materials, and branded communications.
- Track marketing campaigns, monitor key performance indicators, evaluate ROI, and ensure projects are completed on time and aligned with business goals.
- Support public relations, community engagement, and Community Reinvestment Act opportunities through event planning, communications, and volunteer participation.
- Manage and mentor marketing staff, assign projects, monitor progress, approve timecards, and foster a collaborative, accountable team environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct hire, full-time.
- Location: Santa Rosa, CA.
- Travel: Ability to travel to various bank and event locations as needed.
- Community involvement: Minimum of 10 compensated CRA volunteer hours annually, with mileage reimbursement.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead marketing strategy, branding, campaign execution, and marketing communications across multiple channels.
- Manage website content, social media platforms, digital marketing initiatives, and online communications.
- Coordinate marketing collateral, vendor relationships, public relations activities, and community engagement initiatives.
- Supervise marketing department staff, manage project timelines, and ensure accountability for results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 to 10 years of hands-on marketing and digital communications experience.
- Proven experience managing social media platforms, website content, online communications, and marketing campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Design Standard software, or related marketing tools.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing experience within banking, financial services, consumer lending, or another regulated industry.
- Experience supporting Community Reinvestment Act initiatives, community engagement programs, or local market outreach.
- Previous experience managing marketing staff, agencies, consultants, or external creative vendors.
- Strong understanding of public relations, media coordination, and local community event marketing.
