We are seeking a Maintenance Tech-Prop. Mgmnt for a direct hire opportunity in San Ramon, CA. This role supports the maintenance, repair, curb appeal, and resident-ready condition of a residential community within the real estate and property management industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall appearance, safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the residential community.
- Repair and maintain appliances, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building components.
- Perform carpentry, painting, apartment refurbishment, and general maintenance repairs as needed.
- Prepare vacant and move-out units for occupancy by completing make-ready repairs, coordinating vendors, and conducting final walkthroughs.
- Assist with custodial, groundskeeping, and property upkeep tasks to support a clean and welcoming community.
- Participate in the emergency on-call rotation and document preventive maintenance activities and inventory usage.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 to $75,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: San Ramon, CA.
- Complete apartment make-ready work, unit turns, and move-out repairs to support timely occupancy.
- Perform hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs.
- Support preventive maintenance, property inspections, and curb appeal standards throughout the residential community.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency service needs with professionalism and a service-focused approach.
- 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential property management, multifamily housing, facilities maintenance, or a related environment.
- Working knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues, complete repairs efficiently, and identify when vendor support is needed.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a property management team.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, safe, and resident-ready spaces.
- Reliable, organized, and able to document work completed, preventive maintenance tasks, and inventory usage.
- Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience preparing vacant apartments or residential units for move-in.
- Experience working in a multifamily residential community or property management setting.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs, vendor coordination, and final walkthrough processes.
- HVAC, EPA, electrical, plumbing, or related maintenance certifications are a plus if applicable.
