Job Summary

We are hiring Remote Licensed Health Insurance Agents for a temporary telesales opportunity supporting Open Enrollment. This role is ideal for licensed insurance professionals in Florida or Georgia who enjoy helping customers compare health plan options, make confident coverage decisions, and complete enrollment in a compliant, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle primarily inbound health insurance sales calls, with some outbound follow-up calls as needed.
- Educate customers on available health insurance plans, benefits, eligibility, and enrollment options.
- Recommend appropriate coverage solutions based on customer needs while following compliant sales procedures.
- Cross-sell eligible products when appropriate and aligned with customer needs.
- Complete enrollment applications, accurately document interactions, and maintain required records.
- Meet or exceed sales goals, quality standards, attendance expectations, and performance metrics.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate for English licensed agents: $21.00 per hour.
- Pay rate for bilingual Spanish or Creole licensed agents: $23.50 per hour.
- Performance-based bonuses available.
- 100% remote position for candidates residing in Florida or Georgia.
- Temporary assignment through December 2026 - could extend into January 2027.
- Training schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST.
- Attendance during training is mandatory, and no time off will be approved during training.
- Work schedule may fall within operating hours of 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM EST.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.
- Schedules are assigned based on business needs, and weekly schedule changes should be expected.
- Candidates cannot select their shift.
- During peak Open Enrollment, occasional hours beyond 9:00 PM may be required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support customers through the health insurance plan selection and enrollment process.
- Manage inbound telesales conversations and outbound follow-up calls in a fast-paced call center environment.
- Follow compliant scripts, sales processes, enrollment procedures, and documentation standards.
- Achieve sales, service, quality, and productivity goals in a remote setting.

- Active Florida 2-40 or 2-15 Health Insurance License, or equivalent Georgia health insurance license.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred for this licensed health insurance agent role.
- Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in a sales-driven call center or telesales environment.
- Strong computer navigation, typing, and data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and remain productive in a remote work environment.
- Must successfully complete background screening, fingerprinting, and required training.
- Must understand that the health insurance license will be held during the assignment, which means agents will not be able to sell insurance outside of this assignment during that time.

Preferred Qualifications

- 1 or more years of commissioned or bonus-based sales experience.
- 1 or more years of call center experience.
- 1 or more years of health insurance experience.
- Bilingual Spanish or Creole communication skills.
- Strong time management, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated professional with a passion for helping customers find appropriate health coverage.
