Job Summary
A well-established law firm in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant – Real Estate to support a busy real estate practice. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with strong real estate transaction experience, excellent organization skills, and the ability to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and legal support to multiple attorneys handling commercial and residential real estate matters.
- Draft, revise, proofread, format, and finalize real estate contracts, leases, closing documents, correspondence, and related legal documents.
- Prepare attorneys for real estate closings by gathering, organizing, and maintaining required transaction documentation.
- Manage electronic and physical client files, document versions, redlines, calendars, meetings, deadlines, and matter intake.
- Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, title companies, opposing counsel, and other transaction parties.
- Prepare, edit, and process monthly client billing, including prebills, narrative edits, and attorney billing coordination.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $65,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- Work Arrangement: 100% on-site in West Palm Beach, FL.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support multiple real estate attorneys throughout the lifecycle of commercial and residential real estate transactions.
- Prepare, revise, proofread, and manage real estate legal documents, closing materials, correspondence, and contracts.
- Coordinate transaction deadlines, calendars, client files, intake, billing, document management, and closing preparation.
- Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, opposing counsel, and internal legal teams with professionalism and accuracy.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably with a strong background in real estate law.
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced law firm environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word with Track Changes, and Excel.
- Experience with document management systems and legal billing software.
- Strong proofreading, document formatting, redlining, file management, and version control skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, time management, and client service skills.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with iManage, SmartTime, and Aderant.
- Prior experience supporting commercial and residential real estate transactions.
- Strong familiarity with real estate closings, closing documentation, leases, contracts, and transaction workflows.
- Proven ability to work proactively, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of legal support responsibilities in a collaborative firm environment.
