A well-established law firm in Downtown Orlando is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal with litigation experience to join its growing legal team. Key Responsibilities

- Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys in a busy legal practice.
- Prepare, format, review, and file pleadings, motions, correspondence, and court documents.
- Maintain case files, litigation calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and internal legal team members.
- Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case opening through resolution.
- Support document organization, case tracking, and deadline management to help ensure timely and accurate legal work.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: Around $60,000 per year, based on experience.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work Arrangement: Fully onsite in Downtown Orlando, FL.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Provide litigation support to attorneys handling active case matters.
- Prepare and file legal pleadings, court documents, and correspondence.
- Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, case files, and meeting schedules.
- Coordinate communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and legal team members.

- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
- Experience supporting plaintiff litigation or defense litigation matters.
- Strong knowledge of legal document preparation, court filing procedures, and litigation support processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable, team-oriented approach with a strong commitment to client service and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, or Insurance Defense.
- Prior experience working in a law firm environment.
- Familiarity with litigation calendars, deposition scheduling, hearing coordination, and case management workflows.
- Interest in building a long-term career with a stable, growth-oriented legal team.
