Job Summary
A respected downtown Orlando legal services firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant (Real Estate) for a direct hire opportunity supporting busy attorneys in a fast-paced, professional law firm environment. This role is ideal for a polished, detail-oriented legal administrative professional with strong real estate or transactional practice support experience.
The Legal Assistant (Real Estate) will play an important role in keeping attorney workflow, client communications, legal documents, calendars, billing tasks, and deadlines organized and on track. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal administrative support to attorneys from matter intake through resolution.
- Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate client appointments, and track key deadlines.
- Draft, edit, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and practice-related materials.
- Maintain electronic and paper client files while coordinating incoming and outgoing communications.
- Assist with attorney time entry, billing narratives, expense tracking, reimbursements, invoice processing, and monthly billing deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal departments including billing, records, conflicts, and training, and support attorney business development activities and client events.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $65,000 to $72,000 per year.
- Employment type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Work arrangement: 100% in-office.
- Location: Downtown Orlando, FL 32801.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support attorneys in a Real Estate or Corporate practice group with high-volume administrative needs.
- Manage calendars, legal documents, client communications, billing tasks, and deadline tracking.
- Coordinate attorney workflow across internal departments including billing, records, conflicts, and training.
- Provide professional administrative support in a fast-paced legal services environment.
- Minimum 5 years of legal administrative experience within a law firm.
- Experience supporting one or more attorneys with complex administrative, calendar, document, and billing needs.
- Strong executive assistant, legal administrative, and workflow coordination skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with legal billing and case management software preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Professional client service skills with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Litigation experience is not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a Real Estate Law or Corporate Law practice group.
- State court e-filing experience.
- Federal filing experience.
- Knowledge of FileSite, CMS, SmartTime, and Aderant.
- Experience supporting attorney business development activities, client events, or practice group logistics.
