Job Summary
A professional legal services office in Los Angeles is seeking a polished and dependable Law Firm Receptionist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This front desk role is ideal for someone with strong reception experience in a professional office environment who enjoys being the first point of contact for clients, visitors, attorneys, and internal staff.
The Law Firm Receptionist will support daily office operations by managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, handling mail, and assisting with light administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls through the front desk or switchboard.
- Receive, stamp, sort, and distribute incoming mail and office correspondence.
- Maintain a neat, organized, and professional reception area.
- Assist with occasional shelving of law books and general office organization.
- Provide administrative support to help ensure smooth daily office operations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $23 to $25 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional office environment.
- Prior receptionist, front desk, or switchboard experience preferred for a legal or professional services setting.
- Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple front desk priorities.
- Polished interpersonal skills with a client-service mindset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a law firm environment.
