Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential irrigation systems.
- Locate, excavate, repair, and replace damaged irrigation components.
- Install new irrigation systems, including pipes, valves, manifolds, pumps, controllers, and timers.
- Perform routine maintenance and seasonal system checks.
- Test complete irrigation systems to ensure proper operation of valves, controllers, and timers.
- Evaluate soil conditions and landscape needs to determine efficient irrigation solutions.
- Read site plans and assist with irrigation layout and installation.
- Dig trenches and install irrigation lines and related equipment.
- Complete service work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain positive client relationships through professional communication and service.
- Assist with seasonal property maintenance and snow removal operations as needed.
- Support other field operations and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing residential or commercial irrigation systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Dependable, professional, and safety-conscious.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with irrigation controllers, smart irrigation technology, and landscape lighting systems.
- Basic technology and mobile application skills.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proven commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
