Job Summary
We are seeking an REmote (West Coast Hours) Interim Project Coordinator for a 6 to 8 week contract assignment supporting a mission-driven nonprofit scholarship and student success program. This role is ideal for a highly organized program support professional who enjoys working with data, communications, and student-focused initiatives that promote educational access and inclusive communities.
The Interim Project Coordinator will provide essential operational and administrative support across scholar data management, program communications, reporting, event logistics, and documentation tracking. This position requires strong hands-on experience with Airtable and HubSpot, as these platforms are central to maintaining participant records, managing engagement campaigns, tracking program activity, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate scholar and participant records in Airtable, including program participation, academic progress, documentation status, and engagement activity.
- Use HubSpot to create, distribute, and track targeted email campaigns, newsletters, reminders, and scholar communications.
- Generate reports, dashboards, participation summaries, and data updates to support internal program needs and leadership requests.
- Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person workshops, events, surveys, and student success programming.
- Monitor program inboxes, respond to inquiries, track required documentation, and support award disbursement processes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely communication, accurate records, and smooth program operations throughout the contract assignment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $28 to $32 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage scholar data, participant records, program tracking, and academic progress reporting.
- Coordinate targeted communications, newsletters, email campaigns, and engagement outreach through HubSpot.
- Support dashboards, reporting, internal data requests, surveys, documentation tracking, and program logistics.
- Assist with nonprofit scholarship and student success programming, including virtual and in-person events.
- 2 to 4 years of program support, program coordination, nonprofit, administrative, or related experience.
- Hands-on experience using Airtable is required.
- Hands-on experience using HubSpot is required.
- Strong database management skills with the ability to maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and related productivity tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and scholar-facing communications.
- Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Service-oriented, collaborative, and mission-driven approach with a passion for educational access and student success.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting scholarship programs, student success initiatives, education-focused nonprofits, or community-based programs.
- Familiarity with email engagement metrics, survey administration, reporting dashboards, and participant lifecycle tracking.
- Prior experience coordinating workshops, webinars, events, or student programming.
