Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a direct hire opportunity supporting water, wastewater, and heavy industrial electrical projects in Orange City, Davenport and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a hands-on electrician who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems, working with controls, and supporting critical infrastructure in the field.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems in water, wastewater, and heavy industrial environments.
- Work with motors, pumps, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, SCADA systems, control panels, feeders, conduit, and underground duct banks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical drawings to complete installations and repairs accurately.
- Diagnose electrical and control system issues and perform corrective repairs to minimize downtime.
- Follow NEC requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and all jobsite safety standards.
- Perform field work in industrial, outdoor, and confined space environments as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Install and service industrial electrical systems for water, wastewater, and heavy industrial projects.
- Troubleshoot motors, pumps, MCCs, VFDs, SCADA systems, and control panels.
- Install conduit, wiring, feeders, and underground duct bank systems.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams for accurate field execution.
- 3 or more years of industrial electrical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NEC requirements and industrial electrical systems.
- Experience using electrical troubleshooting methods and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical field work in industrial environments.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Strong safety mindset, including knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a field team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Water or wastewater treatment facility experience strongly preferred.
- CDL Class A preferred.
- Experience working in outdoor, confined space, or active industrial jobsite environments preferred.
