Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for a direct hire opportunity in Melbourne, FL. This 100% on-site role is ideal for a strategic, business-minded HR professional who is ready to partner closely with leaders, support employees, and help drive organizational performance through effective people strategies.

This is a high-impact HRBP position, not a transactional HR Generalist role. The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor across the business, providing leadership coaching, employee relations guidance, workforce planning support, talent development input, and data-driven recommendations that strengthen culture, engagement, retention, and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to leaders and employees, aligning people strategies with business goals and department needs.
- Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance management guidance, and workplace issue resolution.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, organizational change, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Analyze workforce metrics such as turnover, retention, engagement, headcount, and employee feedback to support data-driven HR recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, HR best practices, and employee support processes, including leave of absence coordination.
- Collaborate with HR shared services and Centers of Excellence to implement HR programs, support employee lifecycle initiatives, and strengthen organizational effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead strategic HR partnership with business leaders and employee groups.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, and performance management guidance.
- Support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, succession planning, and talent development.
- Use workforce data and employee feedback to develop recommendations that improve engagement, retention, and business performance.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5 or more years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR compliance, employment law, and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting 100 or more employees in a corporate or professional business environment.
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and advise leaders at multiple levels.
- Experience conducting employee relations investigations and managing complex workplace issues.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce metrics and develop strategic recommendations.
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, consulting, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organization, time management, confidentiality, professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
- Ability to work continuously in an office environment, operate a computer and standard office equipment, sit or stand for extended periods, walk frequently throughout the office, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
- Occasional travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

- SHRM-CP certification.
- Experience with organizational change, employee engagement strategies, stay interviews, exit interviews, and employee listening programs.
- Experience collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence or shared services teams.
- Experience supporting a growing, multi-location, or nationwide organization.
