Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR/Benefits Coordinator to provide temporary administrative support to the Benefits and Leave team. This position will primarily focus on data entry, maintaining employee records, processing routine forms, and providing general administrative assistance.
Direct benefits or leave experience is a strong plus, but it is not required. Candidates with strong administrative or clerical experience who are comfortable learning new processes and systems are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with confidential employee information.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide administrative support to the Benefits and Leave team.
-Enter and update employee information in HR, payroll, vendor, and benefits systems.
-Process routine benefits and leave forms and supporting documentation.
-Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
-Prepare and distribute employee correspondence, notices, and benefits-related communications.
-Assist with routine benefits and leave administration tasks.
-Track documentation, deadlines, leave requests, and return-to-work information.
-Assist with employee benefits-related communications and events.
-Audit information for accuracy and assist with routine discrepancy resolution.
-Assist with benefits invoices and payroll deduction updates.
-Support new-hire benefits enrollment and open enrollment activities.
-Coordinate routine information with employees, supervisors, payroll, timekeepers, and benefit providers.
-Respond to basic, routine benefits and leave questions and escalate complex questions to the appropriate Benefits Manager.
-Perform data entry across various systems used by the organization.
-Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
-1–2 years of administrative, clerical, HR, payroll, benefits, or related experience preferred.
-Strong administrative and organizational skills.
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
-Comfortable performing repetitive data-entry tasks.
-Ability to learn and navigate multiple computer systems and vendor platforms.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
-Experience handling confidential information and maintaining accurate records.
-Ability to follow established processes and instructions.
-Strong communication and follow-through skills.

-The ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
-A willingness and ability to learn benefits and leave processes.
-Benefits or leave administration experience is a major plus.
-Previous HR administrative experience is also helpful.
Important: This is primarily an administrative support role. The employee will not be expected to make benefits decisions or independently interpret complex benefits policies. The focus will be on accurately entering information, processing routine paperwork, maintaining records, and supporting the Benefits/Leave team.
