Job Summary

We are seeking an HR Assistant for a temporary opportunity supporting a busy Human Resources team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This role is ideal for an HR professional with 1 to 2 years of experience who is comfortable working with HRIS systems, handling compliance-related documentation, and supporting accurate timekeeping processes.

The HR Assistant will provide additional administrative and systems support during a period of increased workload. This is a great opportunity to work with a collaborative HR team in the construction, industrial facilities, and infrastructure space, where accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and responsive support are highly valued. The environment is team-oriented, structured, and focused on helping employees and internal stakeholders stay compliant and organized.

Key Responsibilities

- Schedule compliance-related tasks and training assignments for employees.
- Save, organize, and maintain HR and compliance documents in required formats.
- Review employee timesheets, identify discrepancies, and make necessary corrections.
- Prepare HR documents, reports, and administrative materials as needed.
- Use HRIS systems to support employee records, compliance tracking, and HR workflows.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team to help manage increased workload.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $25.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Assignment length: Temporary position, length of assignment has not been established.
- Location: Rancho Cucamonga office.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Schedule employee compliance tasks and support completion tracking.
- Maintain and save HR compliance documentation in various required formats.
- Review, correct, and support timesheet accuracy.
- Prepare HR documents and provide administrative support to the HR team.

- 1 to 2 years of HR, HR administration, or related administrative experience.
- Experience working with HRIS systems is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate employee and compliance records.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Comfortable working in an office-based, Monday through Friday schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with UKG Ready or UKG Pro.
- Prior experience supporting HR compliance, timekeeping, or employee documentation processes.
- Experience in construction, industrial facilities, infrastructure, or a related industry.
