Full-Time | New Role Due to Growth
We’re hiring a Global Freight Management Specialist to manage and optimize international freight operations across ocean, air, and ground transportation. You’ll help ensure our products move efficiently, compliantly, and cost-effectively from origin to destination.
Location & Schedule
Split time between Orange County (3 days/week) and Fontana (2 days/week)
Mileage reimbursement provided
Full-time, on-site role (hybrid between two facilities)
What You’ll Do
Manage Global Freight Operations
Coordinate shipments across ocean, air, truck (FTL/LTL), and intermodal
Book and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
Monitor global freight status and resolve delays or exceptions
Communicate shipment updates to internal teams and partners
Prepare and manage shipping documents (BOLs, commercial invoices, manifests)
Work with Carriers & Logistics Partners
Partner with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PLs to secure capacity and competitive rates
Support contract and rate negotiations
Review and audit freight invoices for accuracy and timely payment
Ensure Compliance & Accuracy
Follow international shipping regulations and internal procedures
Support customs documentation and trade compliance requirements
Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Assist with audit documentation and reporting as needed
Collaborate Across Teams
Work closely with supply chain, procurement, inventory, and customer service teams
Support cross-border shipping decisions and issue resolution
Improve Performance
Track and report KPIs such as cost, transit time, and carrier performance
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Recommend process improvements and freight optimization strategies
What We’re Looking For
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred)
1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or global transportation
Experience with multi-modal international shipping
Skills & Knowledge
Understanding of global transportation modes and shipping documentation
Familiarity with Incoterms®, customs processes, and international trade practices
Experience using TMS systems, freight audit tools, and Excel
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
Experience working with global carriers, brokers, and 3PLs
Knowledge of freight cost optimization, routing guides, and compliance practices
